The Gorilla Slide 2000-XT is a heavy-duty, all-aluminum slide-out cargo tray that is rated to handle up to 2,000 pounds evenly distributed. We're confident with that rating, because we did some extreme testing. We placed our 3,680-pound testing block, Big Bertha, on the XT model and it took two big men to push the slide in and out. After the test, we took Big Bertha off so we could examine the condition of the tracks. The results: even after Big Bertha, the 2000-XT worked fine!
Unlike other manufacturers, we use no plywood in the Gorilla Slide 2000-XT. The cargo tray is thick, heavy marine grade aluminum. Underneath lies the secret of this goliath's strength: The tray glides on sealed roller bearings on our galvanized steel Tee-Bone™ track system and safely locks into position with the dual Stab Lock™ locking mechanism. The tray itself is manufactured from heavy gauge 1/8” aluminum. It's tough as nails and sharp-looking too.
The Gorilla Slide is a giant drawer that pulls out all your tools, supplies, cargo or toys to where you can get to them easily. It saves your back, your knees, and your time. When our owner Gene is not using it for his golf clubs, his wife Debby is using it to shop for company supplies, potted plants and groceries.
